It's always been like this for the middle class in Vizag - only two 'decent' kinds of professionals existed: Doctors & Engineers. It used to be taken for granted that any self-respecting student would opt for either of these courses after high school. Here too there was a gender bias - while the girls opted for 'BPC' (Biology, Physics, Chemistry), the boys chose 'MPC' (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) at the high school/Intermediate level.

Health is metabolic efficiency. Sickness is metabolic inefficiency. Nobody is totally healthy or totally sick. Each of us is a unique combination of health and sickness. And each of us has a unique combination of abilities and disabilities, both emotional and physical.
As we grow up, we learn that we are loved for our abilities but hated for our disabilities. This happens at home, at play, at school, and at work. Sometimes, this even happens with our doctors, especially if our disabilities mystify them or remind them of their own disabilities.

Gone are the times when people used to choose a career and stick to it all life long, when job stability, not the career growth prospects, used to be the only reason for choosing the career and at those times government job used to be the highest priority and the only time people used to leave their job was, retire from it. With changing times, one has to constantly enhance the skill set, as the need of the hour may be to keep oneself still hot and sought after.

Beauty culture or cosmetology is becoming one of the major occupational avenues in India, as the world of fashion and glamour is growing manifold along with the rising incomes of the people and changing life styles. It is further boosted by the new scientific developments, techniques, products and media hype. So this sector is witnessing mega revenues and has a lot of commercial potential. People are becoming more and more fashion and fitness conscious and are laying more stress on personal grooming.

It’s that time of the year again, when students are busy burning the midnight oil. Exams are round the corner. Students of all ages are forced to learn complex formulae, derivations and long essays that will probably be forgotten by the next year. So what is memory and how do we retain information effectively?Memory is the cognitive activity of recalling information that you have learned or experienced.

Don't allow the fact that you are a new model to be an excuse or crutch for not knowing the industry. Anything worth having, takes work. Modeling is a job and unless you're ready to give it attention, you're not ready to be a model.
